Snug as a bug in her car seat for the ride HOME!! :)
We were discharged from the hospital on March 17th - St Patty's Day - a lucky day, but one that was rainy and dreary (hopefully that means good luck like it does on your wedding day!). It started out as a frustrating day with Mia constantly wanting to eat, her being a little jaundice (we were told we had to go to the pediatrician's office on Friday of that week), and the woman administering the hearing test was driving me up a wall! But after she passed the test with flying colors and all of our paperwork was done, we dressed Mia in her 'take home' outfit, Steve loaded up the car, and Mia and I were wheeled downstairs and we buckled her in her car seat for the ride home! Home....where we will rock Mia to sleep in her nursery each night, lay her down to sleep in her cozy crib, play games with her in the living room, and teach her all the things there are to know in life....where we are now a family of three!
