It has been a busy couple of weeks with lots of visits from our good friends in South Florida! As much as it makes me sad that we are not near our families in OH (with the exception of awesome Aunt April), I couldn't be more grateful for such a wonderful group of friends here that feel like family! In addition to so many wonderful people in our lives, we now have lots of baby friends for Mia! Her first "play" date was with Savana and she has been on lots of walks with her boyfriend Tyler. I am so glad to have so many friends that just had babies this past fall or around the time that Mia arrived - it has made the transition to mommyhood so much easier. There have been plenty of times when I wasn't sure if I would make through another sleepless night, but they all told me that things would get easier, better, etc....and as much as I didn't believe them at the time, each day has gotten a little easier. Thanks to all the moms near and far for all your advice, support, and love! We couldn't do it without you - don't worry, the calls won't be stopping any time soon either! HA!
I am lucky to have so many awesome aunts that love to spoil me!!

We also celebrated our first holiday as a family on Easter Sunday with Aunt April, her boyfriend and Erin. We had a nice little brunch at our home and enjoyed the beautiful weather by sitting out on the patio. Mia was the hit of the party, as usual, and loved wearing her Easter dress from Grandpa and Grandma R.
Relaxing with Aunt Erin before we eat!
My first holiday with Mom and Dad!
I love cuddling with Daddy!
Unfortunately we lost a beloved member of our family on Easter Sunday - Mama Z is now an angel watching over us from heaven. I was so heartbroken that she never got to meet her first great granddaughter in person, but Mia will know all about her since she was loved by so many. Not to mention that one day we will bake all of Mama's famous cookies together...I look forward to passing on all of these traditions from my childhood to my daughter.
