Showered with LOVE....

I know I have been a horrible blogger lately, but the entire month of January came and went in the blink of an eye....and now it's February and we're only 5 short weeks away from meeting our sweet baby girl!  A lot has happened in the past month, including two baby showers, visits with family and friends, a maternity photo shoot, childbirth class, and a bathroom remodel and nursery set-up.  Whew!  It is amazing to me how much stuff one little person needs, although I'm sure that a majority of it isn't exactly necessary (at least at the beginning of her life anyway), but she is definitely already extremely spoiled and loved!!  We thank all of you who were able to come to either or both showers and for your love, support and generosity! 

My sister and I traveled to the frozen tundra of OH for a long weekend at the beginning of January for baby shower #1, which was held January 9th, 2010 at Alberini's Restaurant in Poland, OH.  The beautiful event was hosted by the Grandmas!

My beautiful sister (Aunt April) and Mom - thank you for such a gorgeous shower...Baby Roz can't wait to meet you both (and see you often - hint, hint Mom!) and be rocked to sleep in her glider :)

My other wonderful family - sister-in-law, Christie (who will receive many phone calls in the coming months about what I'm supposed to do with a newborn!), mother-in-law, Marion (thank you so much for throwing such a beautiful shower!) and niece, Kailie (the perfect role model for her little cousin!).

The bumps needed to catch up on some girl talk...sharing the amazing journey of pregnancy with my cousin (aka older sister).

Godmothers, goddaughters, grandmother, sisters, and cousins...such wonderful women in my life!

Best friends since high school...both already wonderful moms to two and one, respectively (who will also be receiving lots of phone calls for advice!).  Suz is pregnant with a little girl so her and Baby Rozman can be as close as their moms and both girls will be fighting over Janelle's little guy :)

The Cleveland girls...thanks for making it down in the not-so-ideal weather conditions ladies!  I am lucky to have such terrific friends who are willing to travel the distance!

A sentimental gift from Grandpa Zentko to Daddy - a baby in her father's hands.  My parents have had this in their home for as long as I can remember and now it will be in ours and will move around to my sister's and/or brother's with each grandchild.  Love ya Dad!

We left the snow and cold temps behind only to come back to some not-so-Florida like weather (very chilly and some frost!).  Luckily it warmed back up a little in time for the Shanty girls' (aka my college roommates) arrival for baby shower #2.  My sister and two of my college roommates, Aryn and Karyn, hosted a get together at a friend's house on January 23rd, 2010.  In the four short years that we have lived in South Florida, I have been blessed to meet some amazing women who have become such a big part of my life.  From co-workers to kickball teammates to meeting by random chance, I am lucky to know each and every one of you!

The hostess with the mostest - Aunt April, who went above and beyond!  The "Ba-bee Shower" was absolutely perfect and everyone had a terrific time!  You're going to be the best aunt this baby girl could ask for (and already are the best sister a girl could want!).

A surprise visit from MOM - leave it to Dad to put this together.  It was so great to have her here and enjoy some time together in a warmer climate!
